Math Masters goals 2008-2009: 85% of 3rd graders pass addition facts, 35% of 3rd graders pass subtraction facts, 60% of 4th graders pass multiplication facts, 60% of 5th graders pass division facts, 60% of 6th graders pass all 4 math operations (both facts and applications)
Goal: To improve student recall of basic math addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts by providing students with basic math facts instruction and/or practice 15 minutes each day. Specific targets are:
Grade1 – 20% pass basic addition facts 0-9; 10% pass basic Subtraction facts
Grade2 – 50% Pass basic addition facts 0-9; 40% pass basic subtraction facts 0-9; 10 % pass basic Multiplication facts 0-9.
Grade3 – 100% pass basic addition facts 0-9; 80% pass basic subtraction facts 0-9; 50% pass basic Multiplication facts 0-9.
Grade4 – 100% pass basic subtraction facts; 90% pass basic multiplication facts 0-9; 25% pass basic division facts 0-9.
Grade5 – 90% pass basic multiplication facts 0-12; 75% pass basic division facts 0-9
